Bluefin Robotics, AcousticView and Sound Metrics
combine efforts to form detailed mosaics

Bluefin Robotics surveyed a crumbling bulkhead at the Battleship Cove Museum in Fall River, MA. Bluefin combined .ddf files like the one below from their HAUV-mounted 300m DIDSON with software from AcousticView, which was recently featured in Marine Technology Reporter. The result is a mosaic of combined sonar images that shows a broader view (all images courtesy Jerome Vaganay).
