Ideal for medium and long range imaging, this optional lens doubles the cross-range resolution over standard lens sets, making for ultra-fine images. The combination of narrow horizontal beamwidths (down to .15º) and narrow vertical beamwidths (down to 3º) increases the return signal by as much as 10 dB additional range. Images are delivered in a concentrated 15º field of view.
At 29 cm wide x 49.5 cm long, the Telephoto Lens Set is compatible with our 300-meter standard and long-range DIDSON imaging sonars.
The Telephoto Lens Set may not be used concurrently with the RAL option, but may be swapped back and forth with the RAL option on 300m DIDSON sonars.
