Harbor Security with Sonar Imaging

A diver analyzes a limpet mine from several angles.

More detailed images for better harbor security.

Mines, explosives and divers with bad intentions are all significant threats to ships, harbors and other shore side facilities. When the water is murky and turbid, guarding against these threats is especially challenging.

Sound Metrics is changing that. With imaging sonars that can “see” clearly even in zero visibility, frequency ranges up to 1.8 MHz and sampling beamwidths down to 0.3°, users get the detailed, precise near video-quality images they need to make bulletproof threat assessments.
